So we like to be there, the food is delicious and fresh. There are no complaints. Now in the Corona times, even the place mats have been disinfected. I have never seen this in any restaurant. You can go there with peace of mind

Food was missing from the delivery, and then portrayed as a liar ... does not work at all

We were there to eat on 09/11/2020. Since the golden dragon has been around for a long time and I had never heard anything negative, we decided on it. It is important that the following is my personal opinion and may differ from other experiences. Maybe we just had a bad day. The food: The selection is generous but standard. Neither bad nor particularly original. What really disappointed me was that I chose a dish with rice noodles and different types of meat. In the end it was 3 pieces of beef and the rest was chicken. The glass noodles piled up and were still quite firm. I didn't think that was so great, but at least it made me feel full. In addition, the spring rolls I ordered were these classic ready-made things that I can also buy at Lidl. At least that's what they made. The drinks: Maybe I imagined something more exciting under a lychee cocktail. But it was just lychee juice (from the can? The scraps of soaked lychees from the can floated around with it) and alcohol. Inside was a lychee. Hmm well. It was okay in and of itself, but neither nicely presented nor anything else. And lychee juice from pickled lychees doesn't taste that great either. As I said, maybe I was expecting too much. The remaining drinks were always only 0.2 l and therefore small. The operation: So here I hope we really just had one bad day. Because I found the service terrible. We were never asked if everything was okay. Even then, when all glasses were empty for a long time, we had to go to the waitress and ask for drinks. The second time I asked directly whether we were still being served. Because she only took care of the other two tables or was cleaning up. Note: only 2 other tables were occupied. After the second order we were left completely alone. The waitress didn't show up at all. Although we would have taken something else. We couldn't even ask anyone for the bill and had to go in to pay. When asked why we were no longer served, suddenly my question could no longer be understood and was translated by the colleague and then ignored. There was no answer. After this experience, I would not go again. Since I hadn't heard anything negative up until then and the restaurant has obviously been around for so long, it was maybe just a bad day. Who knows. Perhaps you will have different experiences during your visit :)

No recommendation! - Duck tough and cartilaginous - Inaccurate information in the menu (e.g. what exactly does "vegetable" mean? Potentially important for allergy sufferers!) - rice unevenly warm (sometimes cold spots) - Operation not accommodating (e.g. no good appetite desired, no operation for about 25 minutes) - hardly any parking spaces

I was looking for a family celebration and tested the Golden Dragon. Was completely satisfied. I also want to thank the city of Gera, no parking spaces just for residents

A great restaurant, has existed for many years. We celebrated our birthday there. Had a menu of several courses. In between you could have a relaxed conversation or walk around a bit. Great atmosphere.

Incredibly tasty and huge portions. For the 2 person menu you should take a third one with you.

Good Chinese food for an affordable price. Definitely two quality standards higher than the Asians around the corner, but could still be a little better in some places (fried or baked often tastes a little very fryer). The Peking duck - or the menu - was also excellent and worth the pre-order.

So far very good experiences. But last week's visit, a cockroach just walked over our table. We got up immediately, and left. What is going on in the kitchen ????
